A Battle Between Heart & Mind

A lonely heart says feel it,
A rebelling mind says leave it,
Caught in the mayhem of both,
Can't find for myself a place to reveal it.

Heart drives me in the lovely passion,
Mind reminds me the ugly occassion,
Both carry on their struggling relation,
Keeping me alone in an utter aberration.

It looms large in a romantic creation,
But mind says she has another destination,
Perplexed in God's mythful construction,
My soul sighs inside for a sincere redemption.

Dwelling in heart a world of dreams,
Cropping up in mind an array of painful streams,
No winner in this battle of contrary beliefs,
Concludes me only to self sorrow and griefs.

Who ?

When I have to come to see you,
The wait seems like an age.
When I meet you,
It flies as if a wink.
When I go away from you,
It stands still without you.


Is it me or the time which lingers for you?

A Rose Day

It has been long since I wanted to write,
But never got many words so bright.
Which could see the depth in your eyes,
Or could tell the serenity of your voice.

If the words did come to me,
They refused to help me describe your beauty.
Even the literature got confused,
And the mighty grammar searched for clues.
          
Then I sought the help of universe,
Every one came so strong and diverse.
But then they saw the work to do,
All of them resigned but gave a gift for you.     

Soft as your touch and caring as your heart,
Strong as our journey, of never ending start.
It was best of air, water and clay,
A rose for a rose on a beautiful rose day!
